A maximum of two entrée choices may be served for any dinner reception.
A Minimum requirement of 50 guests for a combination entrée selection
is needed. There will be no additional charges for Vegetarian meals. The host
is responsible to indicate by placecard and floor plan each guest entrée
selection to enable our staff to efficiently and professionally serve each guest. Each banquet may be subject to a minimum Food and Beverage purchase
and or a room rental charge, not including a taxable service charge and
state sales tax. Guarantee of Attendance
Required five (5) days in advance of event and not subject to reduction. Charges
will be based on this guarantee, or on actual attendance, whichever is higher.
In the event that no final guarantee is received, the original estimated
attendance would be used and charged accordingly. Food and Beverage
All food and beverage will be provided by Essence of Elegance Gourmet and will
be consumed within the time framed by Essence of Elegance Gourmet and will
be consumed within the time frame of the event as stated in the Catering
Contract. Essence of Elegance reserves the right to confiscate food or beverage
that is not noted by Director of Catering. If client provides own wedding cake; a surcharge make be added for cake
cutting and serving. If client provide his or her own bottle wine, there will be an additional
$15.00 corkage fee per bottle and will be served by Essence of Elegance
professional service staff. Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. An initial deposit of
$1.500.00 is due upon reserving the date for reception. A 30% deposit of
total estimated amount is due upon signing a Catering Contract. A 2nd deposit
is required 90 days prior to event date; this will be 60% of your food and
beverage total. All deposits will be credited toward your event total. If
there is a cancellation less than thirty days prior to your event, a cancellation
fee in the amount of the food and beverage will be charged. Essence of Elegance
accepts payment in the form of cash, money orders, traveler’s checks,
and cashier’s checks. All credit card payments will be subject to a
4% surcharge. Final Payment
Due five (5) days prior to the event based on guarantee of attendance. Any
additions (5) days prior to the event based on guarantee of attendance. Any
additional charges that may occur will be payable the day of the function. Tax and Service Charge
An 8.75% states sales tax and an 18% taxable service charge will be assessed
unless stated otherwise in the Catering Contract or the Director of Catering
Sales. Hired Professionals
All professionals hired by client to execute the event (i.e. disc jockeys,
musicians, photographers, florist’s etc.) are not permitted to consume
alcoholic beverages while they are performing their specific duties. Essence
of Elegance does not assume any responsibility for equipment lost, damaged
or stolen. Wedding Ceremonies
All on site wedding ceremonies have additional charges to be determined by
the Director of Catering Sales based on venue and number of guests attending
the ceremony. Children’s Meals
A child between three (3) and ten (10) years of age will be eligible to receive
a child’s meal. Children’s meals are $15.95 per child. Please
ask for entrée choices. All entrees includes pre-set House Salads
dressed with House Dressing and Fresh Baked Dinner Rolls. |
